In this role, you will work with the Android Partner Engineering team at Google, which is at the exciting forefront of growing and improving the Android ecosystem with our partners. The team works in a fast-paced technology driven environment and is engaged with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), carriers, chipset manufacturers, and Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) across the globe. One of our key missions is to ensure the Android device delivers the best Google experience to our customers, through the Google Mobile Services (GMS) partnership programs.

You will become a technical expert on how core mobile products and applications (e.g., Search, Chrome, or Google Play) are adopted and integrated by our partners, and how GMS device approval processes work.
Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationship with Android platform, Play, and cross-product area tech leads, and provide them with technical leadership and insights in order to mitigate technical risks.
Take the ownership of updating GMS Requirements, GMS distributions, and GMS device approval processes to ensure the compliance of Android devices.
Set the goal and direction for a long-term goal to build more agile GMS partnership processes and tools.
