Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience coding with general purpose programming language (i.e., Java, C/C++, Python).
Experience working with web technologies including, but not limited to: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience as a SaaS application Product Manager or building ETL pipelines.
Experience implementing Enterprise Legal Management software or working within law departments/law firms.
Customer-facing experience translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical audiences.
Ability to collaborate, build consensus, deliver, and drive technical decisions with various sized customer stakeholder groups.
Knowledge of SQL/MySQL, and Unix/Linux operating systems and commands.
Technical leadership, project management, analytical problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Our Legal team needs more than attorneys to keep things moving. Our Legal Operations team is charged with improving and maintaining the Legal team’s internal processes, systems and tools. Responsible for tracking objectives, coordinating financial planning and solving technology challenges, you are entrepreneurial, proactive and highly organized. You keep costs down, engage third-party vendors and make the Legal team’s services better, faster and more efficient.
The Legal Business Transformation group is part of Legal Operations team and is responsible for delivering technology and process solutions that help the legal department scale with Google’s growth. We accomplish this by partnering with our Engineering counterparts and utilizing our core competencies in program management and systems analysis.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs, conduct workshops and document functional/systems integrations requirements.
Lead 3rd-party system implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, data pipelines, integrations, issue identification, and resolution).
Partner with engineers to provide project management and requirements definition support for implementing homegrown systems.
Manage project schedule for the workstream, identify possible issues, and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders. Automate simple workflows using Google Apps script, Google App maker, etc.
Help facilitate decision making, including evaluating vendor applications, evaluating functional and technical designs (such as multi-party integrations across systems, vendors, etc), build-vs-buy evaluation, etc.
