About the job
Our team’s mission is to accelerate the productivity of teams across Google who build structured search features using the Knowledge Graph. Our close partnerships with product and engineering stakeholders, and expertise in tooling and infrastructure enable us to make advanced Search feature development faster and more scalable.
As a Technical Solutions Consultant you will own and drive key processes, workflows, and product domains used by engineers and product teams across the company, along with the vendor operations team supporting our team. You will serve as a point of coordination owning internal client engagements, which may focus on technical domains such as data modeling, data ingestion, feature triggering, debugging, engineering tools usage, and more. Within the team, you will be the key subject matter expert that the rest of the team depends on to develop best practices and operational protocol as tools and processes continue to evolve.
Responsibilities
Manage the technical aspects of data pipelines (estimated time to launch, scraping, parsing), schema development, and user journeys.
Understand high-level product dependencies and break them down to relevant requirements for implementation on the search stack.
Coordinate operations and refining toolsets and workflows between infrastructure engineers and our technical operations.
Serve as team’s internal point person for debugging, helping manage bug reporting, and prioritization among partner engineering teams.
Establish best practices and client integration plans for technical areas of the team (schema development, KG data ingestion, debugging tools, regression/quality/evaluation tools) .
