The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As a Trading and Commercialization Expert, you will help design and run complex, innovative, and relevant commercial mechanisms that work across various EMEA countries to ensure we are commercially positioned with regards to our media incentive programs across the region.

In this role, you will support the EMEA leadership and regional teams on agreement efforts through functional coordination and driving initiatives to increase efficiency in the overall agreement process. You’ll create and maintain working relationships with Sales, Legal, Finance, and global stakeholders.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure internal agreement processes run smoothly and within agreed timelines. Collaborate with approvers to secure timely approvals and work with Legal teams to support timely turnaround of agreements.
  • Act as the point of contact for standard agreement queries, manage the communication flow with the global team, and filter requests to ensure timely response from global stakeholders.
  • Manage regional agreement review, organize the agenda, and capture and follow up on decisions to ensure they are implemented accordingly and on time.
  • Help agreement teams to structure standard agreements. Manage agreement approval preparation complexity by actively managing the agreement modeling process for large EMEA markets where needed.
  • Support incentive funds inclusion and activation for agreements. Understand Discretionary Incentive Fund (DIF) usage guidelines inside and out, and support teams, helping them navigate the complicated activation rules and guidelines.
