Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in a senior role creating strategy and designing products, with a track record of key contributions to innovative, successful products.
UX portfolio, demonstrating insights, problem solving, and solutions.
Preferred qualifications:
Learning and education experience, with a bias for action and delivering results.
Experience in leading large teams and driving organizational design, career development, operations, and culture both within UX organizations as well as in partnership with Product Managers and Engineering teams.
Experience working collaboratively with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers.
Excellent product sense with an ability of dealing with product ambiguity.
Passion for learning and education, with a commitment to building inclusive teams and team culture.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate positions, and advocate designs.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of UX designers and researchers.
Push the envelope on how technology can help people learn, by pioneering new tech-enabled learning.
Drive product vision/user experience and synthesize requirements, and market trends into a successful multi year product strategy.
Help define new products and experiences that can bring transformational change to education.
Partner with other teams in Learning and Education and across Google.
