In this role, you will partner with Application Ecosystem UX leaders to understand corporate strategic initiatives, lead industry-wide design innovation, and ensure UX teams are effectively bringing user needs into the forefront of Google Cloud Platform’s future. You will serve as a thought partner and business leader to the Senior Director of Application Ecosystem UX and with your team, you will build and drive key programs for product initiatives for the UX team. You’ll play an imperative leadership role through the next phases of our strategy and growth.
Additionally, you will partner with executive leaders to understand the existing and proposed product roadmaps, perform market analysis, assess trends, and identify growth opportunities. Lastly, you will serve as a thought partner to leaders across the portfolio, build, and drive growth initiatives for the business.

Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic thought partner/Chief of Staff to the Senior Director of Application Ecosystem UX, their leadership team, and the Application Ecosystem UX management organization while also managing and growing a team of UX Program Managers.
Define the global UX team strategy to deliver work for the next generation to continually innovate the product, simplify workflows, and elevate the UX team’s impact.
Drive operational difficulty across all UX disciplines and vertical teams. Own the functional cadence in a highly matrixed environment.
Partner closely across functions to drive durable, strategic partnership (including Product and Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Legal). Align strategy and plans across different product UX teams.
Provide insightful, data-driven strategic recommendations to leadership based on analysis, user insights, experience, and good judgment. Contribute to product goals and bring innovative solutions to the team.
