25 years of experience in product management.
Experience working with OEMs and influencing roadmaps.
Experience building and leading high performing teams to achieve their goals.
Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, creating commitment, and drive success among teams and peers.
Ability to lead design aesthetics, drive innovation, inspire teams growth/development, and drive product excellent across multiple product lines.
Excellent collaboration and partnering skills within an functionally-oriented organization.
About the job
As the Vice President of Product Management for Android Tablets, you will partner with leads across Android, Platforms and Ecosystems, and cross-product area teams. You will lead the long-term strategy and roadmap for Android tablets.
In this role, you will work closely with Android leadership, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to determine Google’s product strategies and ensure successful delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of a compelling product roadmap and strategy for Android tablets.
Drive product insights, roadmap prioritization, and resource allocation to ensure continued focus on long-term innovation.
Work closely with cross-functional leaders, other product leaders, and strategic areas to gain buy-in, develop partnerships, and build enthusiasm for the product roadmap.
Grow and develop a high performing product team by attracting, growing, and retaining talent, building a succession bench, and fostering an environment consistent with our brand, organizational values, and user/customer focus.
Develop and adhere to a disciplined product development process, ensuring key milestones are met.
