About the job
As a Wireless Systems Engineer, you will design, specify, test, and optimize various wireless technologies, such as WiFi and Ultra Wideband (UWB), for Pixel phones and other consumer hardware products. You will understand wireless technologies and protocols, how those technologies are integrated in a consumer electronics device (including aspects of RF and antenna), and deliver excellent wireless performance.

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
Responsibilities
Understand wireless technologies and protocols, such as WiFi and UWB
Validate hardware design and end-to-end wireless performance in devices
Perform competitive analysis of wireless technologies from different vendors
Work with cross-functional hardware and software teams to debug and optimize end-to-end wireless performance
Evaluate and develop features for wireless technologies
