Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Primary Responsibilities include: Shipping, receiving, material handling, assembly, labor reporting, material
entry (Data Entry), building containers and packingorders. Qualifications include: Basic math, reading, communications, forklift truck operations, lifting (35
lbs), trainable in computer usage.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Responsible for operating and monitoring machine(s)
Will execute setup of machines for production
Must become skilled at various production task in order to fill in on an as needed basis
Ensure quality of produced product
Multi-task and pay attention to details
Must be able to use scales and measurement devices
Must properly and legibly document work performed and measurements.
Will acquire the skill and tasking of changing machine molds
Skills and Experience
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work without direct supervision
Production experience in background
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules and operating instructions as well as utilize
measuring tools on a daily basis.
Understand written and verbal instructions
Clear and effective communication is a must
Work from routings, instruction sheets, blueprints, or other instructions to manufacture product at
required quality levels.
Perform basic inspection of assembled product to ensure product meets set quality standards.
