Responsibilities
The Activity Coordination Assistant 3 schedules the Community Center meeting rooms and fitness rooms for pre-programmed classes, activities and/or events. Plans, promotes and coordinates programs to provide members with a variety fitness activities. Responsible for greeting visitors, verifying insurance coverage and eligibility, reviewing new visitors registration, and entering new visitors information into the computer system.
Required Qualifications
Customer service experience
Proficient with Microsoft applications: Outlook Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Valid driver license and dependable transportation necessary
Speak to groups to; initiate and/or perform activity, lecture.
Lead activities as scheduled by manager.
Demonstrated high-quality customer service skills, preferably in healthcare or high-end service business
Strong attention to detail; ability to manage many details related to data entry, scheduling, follow-up requests and file maintenance
Ability to build strong working relationship, internally and externally
Ability to work autonomously.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and oral communication with potential clients and current personnel.
Strong emotional intelligence
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home. Preferred Qualifications
Face to face customer service experience
Previous work with vulnerable adults or the geriatric population
Experience in Community health outreach programs
1 or more years of experience performing wellness and recreational activities
Medicare experience

Work Style: Traditional: Associates use dedicated, individual workspace (such as an office, desk or cubicle) in a Humana facility. ** In a year or two if business open another center in the area, associates will work from a non-Humana locations (such as provider facilities, employer facilities and home health locations)

Language Proficiency Testing (English/Spanish): Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than Spanish and/or English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

If participating in a pre-recorded interview, you will respond to a set of interview questions via your phone. You should anticipate this interview to take approximately 10-15 minutes.
If participating in a SMS Text interview, you will be asked a series of questions to which you will be using your cell phone or computer to answer the questions provided. Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.
