Job Posting Title: Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Relations Executive (OTC) Remote – NATIONWIDE (Work from home) – (R-273594)
Description: This position reports through Humana Pharmacy Supply Chain (PSC) team and performs various supply chain, financial and vendor management related tasks in support of Humana Pharmacy operations including, but not limited to, ensuring access to a continuous supply of quality over-the-counter (OTC) and generic pharmaceutical products at a market competitive price, collaborative strategic sourcing of OTC and generic pharmaceutical categories, data analysis, reporting, modeling and supplier management. The candidate will need to be able to work independently, cross-functionally and use different systems or tools to communicate with pharmacy operations team members and complete data retrieval and analysis, cost of goods and gross margin financial modeling, report development and formulation / communication of recommendations based upon the data.
Responsibilities
1. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the completion of competitive and strategic sourcing projects for OTC products and other related goods.
2. Monitor and report on Humana Pharmacy OTC purchases, pricing, and cost of goods sold and margin metrics.
3. Manage the day-to-day activities associated with Humana Pharmacy OTC product supplier relationships, as assigned.
4. Ensure Humana Pharmacy distribution locations have access to quality OTC products from reputable sources of supply.
5. Identify and analyze product access and cost of goods improvement opportunities associated with OTC product manufacturers, distributors and suppliers.
6. Perform competitive pricing analyses to ensure Humana Pharmacy OTC product pricing is competitive across different sources of supply.
7. Track and communicate industry trends and events that may impact Humana Pharmacy supply chain.
8. Utilize internal and external industry data for category management reporting and analysis to help make appropriate business decisions.
9. Track and reconcile financial metrics within supplier agreements.
10. Manage supplier agreement business terms and conditions to ensure that both Humana Pharmacy and supplier are adhering to the terms of the contractual relationship.
11. Assist with developing and documenting PSC processes as well as ensuring all PSC, HPS, and Humana processes are followed in the completion of work.
12. Develop communication processes and tools to communicate with multiple pharmacy operations and inventory teams on product awards, contract adherence, etc.
13. Develop and implement processes, methodologies and tools to forecast and model financial opportunities and communicate with business partners.
