Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Technician in Training must be authorized to participate in a pharmacy’s/pharmacy organization’s technician training program. Completes the certification program including passing all necessary exams as required by company policy. Registration, as applicable, with regulatory agencies must be maintained at all times and be unrestricted. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation. Example of responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Closing out receipts
Changing priorities on replenishments in Elite
Create tickets for Elite issues
Work the Backorder queue in QMSI
Add new drugs to Elite and QMSI
Managing workflow when needed
Required Qualifications
Less than 2 years of technical experience
Must have an active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Good communication skills
Strong math, organizational, and analytical skills.
Must be flexible, friendly, engaging, and proactive.
Ability to make adjustments to schedule when needed to cover the 9:30am to 8pm shift to cover for PTO and staffing concerns as communicated by the FLL.
Work ethic that is focused, accurate and highly productive.
Self-directed, versatile and also able to work well in a group.
Lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
Must be able to stand in a stationary position or be on your feet walking for over 8 hours
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Mail Order Pharmacy experience
Pharmacy experience
Knowledge of the Elite Inventory Management System
Some knowledge of QMSI production system
Knowledge of Specialty medications

Work Schedule for this role: Varied shifts available Monday thru Friday from 5:30am to 8pm. Over time on Saturday as needed and hours subject to changed based on business needs.
