Your Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional development and QA teams to effectively drive project delivery.
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gather information, and build requirements in the form of user stories to bring client and project team to a common understanding of the product.
• Create use cases, flow charts, OO model, UML diagrams, process flows, task analysis, database diagrams, wire frames and screen mock-ups to demonstrate entity lifecycles, user journeys and technical processes.
• Work with the Product Manager to ensure alignment toward the business vision and strategy and to translate roadmaps into user stories that are part of a well-groomed, prioritized backlog.
• Participate in relevant ceremonies and rituals (Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-up, Iteration / Release Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective, etc.).
• Ensure requirements are understood, agreed to and signed off by the appropriate roles and at the appropriate stages in a project.
• Support Quality Assurance for user story acceptance by working with QA Engineers to ensure that the delivered features meet client acceptance criteria.
• Accountable for preparing Test matrices, Defect reporting, Defect Validating, Defect Retesting, Defect Assignment, Defect Tracking and Closure in Jira.
• Analyze the existing reports of the rental reporting system in the database. Checked the consistency of the data after ETL process using SQL queries.
• Execute SQL test scripts, and aid in the solution of data issues.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years of experience in the following areas:

• Software: SQL Assistant, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft TFS, Sharepoint.
• Languages – SQL, SnowSQL, Unix Shell Scripting.
• Databases – MS SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake.
• Data Analysis / Visualization: Lucid Chart, IReport, Crystal Report, MS Power BI, MS Visio .
• Languages – SQL, SnowSQL, Unix Shell Scripting.
• Methodologies – SDLC, Agile Development, SCRUM.
• Tools – Microsoft Office, Adobe PageMaker, PLSQL Developer, SQL Loader.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years of experience in the following areas:

• Software: SQL, MySQL, UNIX Shell Scripting
• Languages – SnowSQL, Python.
• Databases – NoSQL Databases, Mongo.
• Databases – Oracle 8i/9i/10g/11g, Teradata, MS Access 97/2000, Azure Data Studio.
• Cloud Environments – AWS S3, IBM Cloud.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
