Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll work in our Baton Rouge LA. IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As a Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM’s offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.

You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Lead the technical design and implementation of SAP solutions for simplicity, amplification, and maintainability.
• Work from strategy development to solution implementation using your knowledge of SAP and working with the latest technologies such as S4Hana.
• Partner with a cross-functional global team to ensure customer success in an agile environment.

• You will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing and supporting security solutions leveraging SAP security with tools such as GRC and SAP IDM across multiple SAP components such as ECC, HCM, SRM, Ariba, Concur, Fieldglass, Success Factors Employee Central, S4/HANA, BI/BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud and Business Technology Platform.
• Performs security audits and analyzes user profiles to maintain proper software configuration settings.
• Translates business goals into appropriate security solutions in SAP while assessing feasibility and optimization of the solution. Participates in the development of cost/benefit analysis.
• Cultivates and demonstrates industry-specific business process knowledge and familiarity with relevant enterprise, business unit, and functional strategies, objectives, and plans and work with the business and SAP functional teams to design, implement and maintain SAP roles and authorizations.
• Performs security monitoring and compliance activities and work with internal and external auditors for SOX control definitions and testing.

Successful candidates for these positions will work on-site at one of our IBM Client Innovation Center in Baton Rouge, LA. The IBM Client Innovation Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from one of our Baton Rouge center. Some travel is expected, and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). You are expected to travel approximately 50% of the time. This is a traditional office position.
You must live in, or be willing to relocate to LOUISIANA to within 30 days of starting with IBM.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong hands on experience in an IT analyst or consulting position with relating business requirements to sound security solutions and strong knowledge of assessment frameworks/standards namely COBIT/SOX IT Control Testing
• Strong hands on experience in SAP systems analysis and design, and technical/functional solutions delivery (supporting configuration and custom development) and experience with interacting with third party resources, including offshore teams.
• Experience or background in internal and external auditing preferred and must have S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Security, SAP IDM 8.0, and SAP BTP is preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of the major technical processes and associated functionality in the SAP IDM and GRC AC/PC domains, including security understanding of functional processes such as quote and order management, service contract service request and service ticket processing.
• Strong understanding in SAP development methodologies including strong troubleshooting and issue resolutions skills. Proven ability to develop complex SAP solutions. Excellent facilitation skills, including experience planning and participating in SAP design sessions.

• Proven leadership in managing, governing, and providing oversight of internal teams, 3rd party integrators, consultants and vendors through various initiatives. Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions and ideas.
• Strong team building skills, with ability to build quick and effective work rapport with distributed team members.
• Must be self-motivated in learning new concepts and willing to share knowledge and skills with other team members.
• Outspoken and passionate about delivering well designed solutions that exceed business objectives and drive business success.
• Familiarity with Pathlock PAM

The compensation range for this position is based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
