Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Simpler Senior Managing Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering sustainable results by teaching and coaching principles and techniques based upon the Toyota Production System®; eliminate waste, create value, improve process flow, and develop and document standard work, visual management and pull systems.

You will work in conjunction with an Executive Consultant, assigned to the same client. The role of the Executive Coach is to push the client in new directions. As the Senior Managing consultant, you will be responsible to sustain those learnings and drive the client to continue to ask “What’s next? How do we improve from here?”

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor for our clients’ internal change agents, managers, supervisors and front-line employees.
• Coach and transfer knowledge by working side-by-side to develop internal change-agent behaviors that build a culture of engagement, daily problem-solving, and respect for people.
• Coach and develop our clients’ internal change agents and facilitators to create and sustain a “mission control” for daily management and tracking results.
• Look for opportunities to use value-stream thinking to improve the deployment of new technologies and digital information flows.
• Build long term client relationships and engage in business development activities; Build a solid professional network to promote and develop strategic business opportunities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proven, significant experience with the Toyota Production System®.
• Industry expertise.
• Understanding of business operations and business functions tactics.
• Change agent with a record of dramatically better results and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
• Experience coaching and leading continuous improvement techniques.
• Significant hands-on process improvement experience.
• Proven capability for developing and sustaining key relationships.
• Ability to create improved flow of value that is immediately visible and attributable to Simpler’s coaching.
• Passionate self-learner who enjoys teaching others and illuminating concepts with personal examples.
• Willing and able to work in multi-cultural environments.
• Strong interpersonal coaching and presentation skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Industry 4.0 Knowledge and/or experience with Industry 4.0 technologies
• Background in healthcare
• Knowledge of Agile practices or certification
