Your Role and Responsibilities

Working Student Showcase Development at the IBM Innovation Studio in Munich

What you can expect:

• Work on the design and development of brand-new experiences of AI enterprise use cases with our new watsonx and hybrid cloud platforms for our Innovation Studios around the globe.

• Work with experts from around the world in a range of fields from artificial intelligence, cloud and user interface & design.

• Collaborate with our developers, architects, industry experts and other students to shape the creation of inspiring showcases that deliver tangible impact for our customers.

• Develop showcase applications (cloud-native, mobile, etc) for showcases, demos, prototypes, and PoCs for client use cases.

• Implement fun and interactive, yet reliable, performant, and secure solutions by applying agile methods

• A broad perspective on the generative AI landscape, with a focus on Watsonx.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proficiency in modern application development methods and frameworks

• Hands-on fullstack development experience incorporating best practice.

• You are familiar with generative and traditional artificial intelligence concepts

• Strong grasp of IaaS, PaaS principles, common deployment and architectural patterns, both on-prem and in the cloud.

• Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, whilst also being able to work independently if required.

• .Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking

• Capability to demonstrate AI solutions through the creation of hands-on prototypes

• Experience with working in an agile environment
