Help build a new, innovative CPU micro-architecture. Define, create, and implement leading-edge micro-architecture features that will impact compute from client to networking to server.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

- Specify and model novel CPU micro-architectural features

- Ensure that the hardware implementation matches the model

- Identify, analyze and resolve subsystem design weaknesses

- Influence the shaping of future products
Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field and 3+ years’ experience; OR a Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field and 2+ years’ experience ; OR a PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field and 1+ years’ experience

Experience with CPU Architecture

Experience with CPU Performance Model/Modeling
Preferred Qualifications

Modern scripting languages – PERL, Python

Software and C/C++, including large code databases and optimizing execution speed

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
