We are seeking a strong Computer Graphics and Computational Geometry expert to join Intel’s AICV R&D team within IDI, a group dedicated to developing cutting-edge and disruptive technologies for new ground-breaking products and applications.

Incubation and Disruptive Innovation (IDI) is a spearhead group at Intel dedicated to accelerating technological advancement and go-big strategies across Intel. AICV is the core R&D team within IDI focused on Computer Vision and AI capabilities, in a wide range of applications and segments. Our team develops state-of-the-art algorithms in fields such as 3D reconstruction, face recognition, person tracking, autonomous navigation, personal healthcare, and more, employing cutting-edge technologies and innovation to bring ambitious AI projects to life. The team consists of computer vision and deep learning experts, data engineers, software engineers, and hardware engineers, supporting the full development cycle of advanced AI capabilities from data collection, to algorithm development, testing, and deployment.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a motivated Computer Graphics and Computational Geometry expert who will join our 3D reconstruction team, performing innovative research and development for the Metaverse. You will work on algorithms for generating high-quality 3D assets for the Metaverse, employing cutting-edge AI technologies such as neural modeling and rendering. In addition, as a leading CG expert, you will function as a central point of knowledge for Computer Graphics and Geometry in the team, supporting challenging projects such as our in-house Unreal-based simulation environment, our synthetic data generation pipeline for AI, and more.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
M.Sc./Ph.D. in Computer Science or similar, focused on Computer Graphics or Computational Geometry
Experience with 3D model reconstruction and processing
Strong knowledge in C/C++
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong Mathematical background
Experience with 3D modeling tools / game engines such as Blender, Unreal, Unity, etc.
Experience with CUDA programming
Experience with Python
