Job Description
Intel is seeking a qualified candidate to join our DCAI (Data Center and Artificial Intelligence) group as a Engineering Manager. As a manager, set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance. Plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost.
Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions.
Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices.
This position will have direct influence on our organization’s success and the adoption of our products, with responsibilities including but not limited to:
Work with stakeholders to understand each projects’ key objectives and participate in scoping and development of upcoming projects
Lead technologist across thermal mechanical and systems engineering to ensure we develop design that meet our customers’ needs
Coordinate with remote counterparts on delineation of work across multiple teams spread across different timezones
Provide coaching assistance to team members as part of their career development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent and 10 + years of relevant industry experience.
Experience in leading a team of hardware engineers to work on thermal mechanical and system deliverables.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to influence across organization boundaries.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
