Responsible for managing the relationship between Intel and Lenovo’s Workstation Business Unit. Responsibilities include securing Next Generation Workstation designs leveraging both Xeon and Core product roadmaps. Additional focus on platform adjacencies including Wi-Fi, Thunderbolt, Ethernet to extend the Intel BOM in Lenovo Workstation products.
The successful candidate will establish and cultivate relationships with key individuals at Lenovo and Intel ranging from product managers to senior executives depending on situation. The person will identify and develop new opportunities within Lenovo. Important that goals are consistent with Intel’s strategic direction, maximizing the business, and increasing the preference for Intel architectures.
Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
Managing the relationship between Intel and customers by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals at accounts
Developing relationships with distributors and engage distributor resources in support of assigned accounts
Ensure that goals are consistent with Intel’s strategic direction of:
maximizing the business with assigned accounts over the short and long term and
increasing the preference for Intel architectures among assigned customers
Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned annual billings and design win quotas in conjunction with the Field Applications Engineer
Communicate strategies to appropriate field and factory personnel to obtain required support and coordination
Develop a clear understanding of Intel’s business practices including pricing, forecasting, terms and conditions, distribution and code of ethics
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
Solid understanding of the PC client market ranging from segments, key competitors, etc.
Basic understanding of brand and product marketing will be a plus as some elements of the job may require some marketing support.
Exceptional communication is a must in written and verbal communications.
Take varied information and distill to a clear business story and help stakeholders see the key message
Detail orientation and strength in business analytics
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in: working with End Customers and presenting technical/business presentations to Executive level.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Knowledge in Core or Xeon processor roadmaps/architecture
