Job Description
Come intern for one of the largest semiconductor companies in the world. The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) internship program is an immersive experience for students looking to build their technical skill and learn about Intel’s FPGA business.
About the Programmable Solutions Group:
PSG is responsible for Intel’s programmable logic devices and forms part of Intel’s Data Platform’s Group.
About this role:
Students hired into this program will work in-semester, part-time working with the Programmable Solutions Group alongside one of our world-class teams. Internship assignment will be focused on developing strategy and partnership vision for Cloud and Data Center Acceleration Applications portfolio in a Strategic Business Development role. Internship projects will include both technical and business strategy components and give you exposure to PSG’s product portfolio and business processes.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Work on challenging strategic business development, working with both end-customers and partner ecosystem, to help drive critical business and organizational goals.

Length of internship: From 6 to 12 months in-semester part time with the possibility to extend it as per business.
You must be available to work out of Intel’s San Jose, CA offices throughout the duration of the program.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position, and it will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program for business administration with a technical sub-focus, or Electrical/Computer Engineer or Computer Science degree with interest in business strategy.
3+ months of experience in any of the following:

Technical project management.

Strategic business development.
-
Technical business plans, or other project based business experience with technology focus.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with FPGAs.

Digital Logic, data analytics, or business development.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
