Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performing market research and competitive analysis projects on technology megatrends, customer products that include FPGA and the relevant use models (ie how the FPGA is used to support the end product functionalities), power and performance benchmarking versus competing offerings to our FPGAs.
Assist system architects for the end market segments on FPGA requirement gathering activities.
Support driving the definition, trade-off analysis, and convergence of next-generation IP solutions enabling various FPGA end markets and applications.
Support generating market/product/feature requirements based on input from customers and business partners.
Network and coordinate with business stakeholders to continuously drive customer requirements into the product definitions and solutions roadmap.
Maintain and communicate a detailed IP product roadmap.
Coordinate with Product Planning peers to align inter-dependent programs and solutions.
Manage and track input and change requests to Planning and Engineering.
Relevant experience can be obtained through work, classes, projects, internships, and/or military experience. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant experience in FPGA
Preferred Qualifications:
Ways to Stand Out From the Crowd (Experience in one, or more, of the following preferred qualifications is considered a plus factor):
FPGA Experience -(2+ with MS or 1+ with PhD)
FPGA design/application/technical marketing Skills
IP Planning proficiency
System design experience using FPGA in end applications (e.g. test and measurement, ASIC Proto, Broadcast, video, medical or consumer applications)
FPGA design tools experience (e.g. Quartus, Vivado, etc.)
Database design experience

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $102,120.00-$169,020.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
