As we start to execute Intel’s IDM2.0 vision and grow our foundry business, it is critical that FSM (Fab Sort Manufacturing) positions itself as a world class service provider to our external customers. Central to this pursuit is ensuring seamless integration of external products alongside our traditional internal products. FSM is on a journey to build the cultural, organisational, technical, and logistical infrastructure to deliver this vision to ensure we exceed our customers’ expectations.
The Foundry Engineering Team will be responsible for the development and implementation of technical process requirements and systems within the Fab for external foundry customers. The team will work closely with FSM, TD (Technology Development) and IFS (Intel Foundry Services) to ensure a seamless customer support infrastructure. The team will leverage external foundry benchmarking to ensure Intel understands all customer metrics and expectations. They will be the first point of contact in Fab for external customer issues and work very closely on a day to day basis with all the relevant teams in Fab to ensure we can quickly respond to customer issues and sustain the manufacturing excellence needed to hit all critical success indicators.
