Job Description

IT Manufacturing Networks is responsible for the design, deployment, and support of network infrastructure solutions in Intel’s factory environment.
The candidate will be an integral part of this team with a specialisation on Infrastructure Automation to develop software solutions that will increase execution velocity, reduce operational overhead and improve network/security reliability.
The person should have solid experience in delivering end to end automation and orchestration solutions in an enterprise environment.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Education:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or similar

Minimum
– Good understanding of IT infrastructure topologies – legacy networking, software defined networking, load balancing, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
– Strong knowledge of scripting and programming in any scripting language (e.g. Python.) and communication interfaces (e.g. REST, SOAP, etc.)
– Experience with DevOps process and Agile development cycle with Continuous Integration / Delivery (CI/CD). Experience with GIT, CI/CD platforms.
– Experience of using generic automation and orchestration platforms for Infrastructure Automation tasks (e.g. Jenkins/Ansible/Puppet/Terraform)

Preferred
– Automation solutions delivery to Cisco ACI
– General network security understanding
– ServiceNow CI/CD integration
– Database Modelling and integration
– Container orchestration – (Kubernetes, Docker etc.)
– Network certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/DevNet

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
