Intel’s Advanced Design (AD) team resides within the Design Enablement (DE) organization which works in close collaboration with our partners in process technology, IP, and products spanning client/server and networking products. The primary focus of AD is to guide process technology definition, and design prototypes in Intel’s latest process technology, supporting Intel’s internal and external design customers.
As a PROM Digital Design Intern, you’ll be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Enable synthesis on ASIC designs using industry standard and custom tools.
Functional equivalence verification and Static Timing Analysis of ASIC designs.
Automation of IP Quality assurance tools and flows.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a positive factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed may be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences, and/or schoolwork/classes/research.
Actively enrolled/pursuing in a BS degree in Engineering focusing on digital circuit/ASIC design.
Experience on ASIC design tools and flow for synthesis.
Circuit design convergence using industry standard design and validation tools.
Knowledge on device physics.
Experience in scripting languages (perl, tcl, etc.) to enhance design automation, verification, and delivery.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
