Come join the Xeon CPU design team in Fort Collins, CO. This close knit, fun, creative team is looking to hire a motivated Verification Engineer with a love of learning and technology. In this role you will be performing SoC validation tasks such as:
– Validating design and micro-architectural implementation and assumptions
– Performing definition, design, and verification for SoC (System on a Chip) development through simulation and possibly emulation
– Developing validation components
– Creating, enhancing, or supporting software tools to improve validation quality
– Automating validation tasks to improve CPU validation efficiency
– Enabling Front-End Tools/Flows/Methods for Server CPU SoCs
– May also perform logic design for: integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding
– May also review vendor capability to support development

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 3+ years of experience -OR- a Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 3+ months of experience in/with:
One or more of the following: Perl/Python scripting, C++/SystemVerilog programming, OVM/UVM testbench development.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Object Oriented Programming expertise (System Verilog preferred) as well as expertise with RTL (Verilog or VHDL) and one or more validation methodologies (OVM or UVM)
– Scripting skills; preferred languages are Perl and Python
– Bring expert debug and problem-solving skills relevant to Intel server verification build and run tool flows and willingness to quickly apply prior knowledge to immediate program needs
