Who are we?
Intel Vision Technology Group (VTG), Intel’s Computer Vision Center of Excellence, is looking for an experienced system verification engineer to join our Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMR) RnD validation team. Our RnD team is focused on developing and introducing state-of-the-art AMR 3D cameras that set the stage for groundbreaking innovations. Our goal is to help our customers to power up and boost industrial and operational robotics automation by providing them a smarter depth camera with the capability to see, analyze and make independent decisions in real time.
As a validation team, we are responsible to ensure the quality of our products, provide depth characterization and system performance to support RnD decisions. As such, we are heavily depending on reliable data, generated mainly by one of our 6 fully automated robotics labs.
The Functional validation team is responsible for testing and verifying all the functional aspects and performance of the autonomous mobile robots.
Responsibilities:
– Designing detailed validation test plans including automation and environment definitions
– Verification, planning, implementing, testing and debugging of complex HW/SW systems
– Execute product test cycle and test plans
– Reporting and summarizing findings including recommendations
– Analyze results, debug failures and recommend development corrective action
– Support RnD teams with feature validation or customer bugs
– Maintain lab equipment
Qualifications
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Software Engineering/Computer Science
– Experience with validating real time multidisciplinary systems- prefer with imaging system (3D cameras)
– Experience in designing and testing system level features in a HW-SW environment
– Great interpersonal skills
– Experience with functional testing on Driver/FW/MW levels
– Experience with different OS: Win/Linux/AOS
– Python and C++ experience
– Good documentation and communication skills
Nice to have:
– Experience working with Confluence, GitHub, JMP, R Studio
– Working at a continuous integration environment
– Experience working with ROS
– Experience with development or testing and integration of robotics systems products.
– Experience working with Ethernet protocols / Signal Jammer
