Job Description:

We currently have an opportunity for a Payroll Tax Coordinator. This person will perform various payroll tax related activities for the United States including, but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Participation, calculation, and analysis of complex tax accounting scenarios
• Investigate and correct taxation errors for employees from edits.
• Participation in year-end W2 process
• Process corrected W2’s
• ADP periodic and quarterly audit, balancing and corrections.
• Perform ADP versus Oracle payroll reconciliations and submission of payroll files to ADP
• Process various third-party payments
• Research and respond to employee questions through Astute case manager.
• Manage Payroll Tax notices in ADP smart compliance as well as DMR mail.
• Balance monthly Payroll Tax accounts and quarterly trial balance review
• Prepare and submit Journal Entries
• Provide support for payroll tax payments and approvals.
• Improve processes and create efficiencies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to verbalize complex activity.
• Complete Ad hoc reporting/projects within the team, for other teams or state jurisdictions
• Respond to US inquiries as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience in accounting/Finance,.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, specifically with account reconciliations and analysis
• Experience with the Oracle HCM Payroll System, ADP Employment Tax Service, Oracle eBusiness Suite and Accounting Tools preferred
• Payroll Tax and/ or Payroll experience preferred.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and customer service skills to achieve quality goals.
• Proven track record to deliver results in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task to achieve performance goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work individually and as a team member.
• Ability to accurately analyze complex and detailed data to achieve quality results.
• Advanced-level skills with Microsoft Excel and Word
