As a 3D Art Generalist, you will effectively collaborate with a wide range of disciplines such as product design, engineers, producers, product managers, and art direction to ideate, improve art pipelines, and build assets to define the future of VR.

Facilitate a product vision and content development strategy by integrating data, usability studies, research, market analysis, and creative input.

Drive the success and quality of the content creation, collaborating with producer partners to manage content acquisition and delivery.

Work closely with partnering Product Manager to recommend and drive content strategy that feeds the overall product success.

Use persuasive communication to the right audience to get buy-in and feedback.

Understand Meta’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry.

Lead a cross-functional team developing procedural content pipelines following a specific artistic style.

Drive the development of a world creation process and translate that model to an outsource-based model for scaling content production.

Proactive in problem solving, prioritization, risk assessment, and effective information distribution.
Minimum Qualifications:

Extensive and demonstrable experience using Houdini to generate spatial layouts and environment assets.

Directly contributed to art leadership and strategy for 2+ shipped products games or 5+ years live ops.

Experience driving content creation for multi-medium projects with real-time 3D pipelines.

Technical understanding of building and ingesting 3D environments, either through hands on experience as an Artist/Art Director.

Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions.

Expert knowledge of: Maya for environment content creation.

Public Compensation:
$149,000/year to $205,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
