DEC Regional Associate Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate the overall systems and physical security design and construction processes for all of Meta’s New Construction/retrofits for the America region

2. Responsible for negotiation of master agreements and SOWs with Designers, Contractors/Integrators, and maintains positive relationships and resolves disputes

3. Maintains communication with Design & Build teams across Meta, the DEC industry, Fac-ops, and Sec-Ops

4. Demonstrates complete understanding and awareness of global strategy for regions and their associated project(s): design and build schedule/status, and possesses the knowledge/ability to recognize gaps in the delivery program and take appropriate action to mitigate

5. Develops budget forecast for projections

6. Monitors roadmap for capacity demand and participates in program strategy meetings

7. Demonstrates knowledge of commonly used concepts, strategies, practices, and procedures within a particular field

8. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of discipline, construction technology, design, applicable codes, standards, etc., as required to lead our global strategy and align with internal partners

9. Analyzes and resolves construction process problems and issues and effectively communicates and interfaces with all levels of organization

10. 18% Domestic Travel and 2% International Travel required

11. Salary: $159,678.89 to $184,000.00 per year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. 1. Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a closely related field of study and 24 months of experience in the job offered or closely related occupation. Experience must include 24 months in the following:

2. Python and AWS Cloud

3. Site selection due diligence and master planning of large-scale mission critical and technical campus environments

4. Monitoring roadmap for capacity demand and participating in program strategy meetings

5. Developing budget forecasts for projections

6. Analyzing and resolving construction process problems and issues

7. Implementing project-wide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess a Project’s operational effectiveness around cost, schedule, controls, risk, closeout, and safety

8. Communicating and coordinating with internal and external teams while aligning with the strategic goals of the client

9. Reviewing critical project documentation, including project site plans and cost estimates, and advising clients on potential risks and improvement opportunities

10. Coordinating local process engineering and construction companies responsible for reviewing technical specifications, construction, and equipment installation

11. Participating in the full construction lifecycle of design engineer projects
