Meta is looking for a communications professional to join its Partnerships Comms Team supporting our efforts to amplify partnership activations and content. We’re looking for an individual to work closely with our partnerships and marketing teams to support their efforts to build understanding and advocacy with media partners and consumers. This is a highly strategic position for a motivated person who not only can drive high profile, cross-functional campaigns, but can curate events and lead proactive publicity with an innovation lens. The ideal candidate will have experience working with talent, entertainment executives and with entertainment, consumer and trade media. We’re looking for a candidate who demonstrates the ability to manage PR agencies, drive proactive communications and is capable of working with cross-functional groups to achieve maximum business objectives. Communication and collaboration are keys to success in this role, as well as the ability to take complex concepts and distill them into clear, easy to understand communications. Deep enthusiasm for Meta, pop culture content and consumer tech products is a must. You should be passionate about the services we provide and the people that we serve.

Develop key messaging, positioning and execute campaigns to support Meta engagement with the partners including talent, creators and media companies

Build and maintain relationships with talent, industry stakeholders and media to drive positive press coverage in entertainment, trade and consumer outlets

Work with PR agencies to create, shape, execute and manage proactive publicity campaigns for partner activations and content across Meta, including broadcast, print and online coverage

Manage multiple projects simultaneously across the Communications team

Engage with executives on strategic initiatives and spokesperson opportunities

Serve as a cross functional partner to marketing and partnerships teams

Work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment

Identify trends and opportunities to amplify how talent, global influencers, the music industry and media companies are building community and bringing our mission to life

6+ years of communications or public relations experience

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or similar field

Experience with product launches, strategic communications & campaigns, executive communications, and project management

Experience working with brands, talent and their teams, and executives

Reporter relationships across entertainment, consumer, and industry trades

Experience writing and communications skills, capable of crafting nuanced consumer, industry and executive messaging

Experience with online content/video either at an entertainment or technology company

Experience managing a PR agency or cross-functional teams

Experience working in a tech environment

Experience in handling publicity for large scale or cultural events

Writing experience (Journalism or copy)
