Consumer Researcher Responsibilities:
Apply your expertise in research design, analysis and the presentation of data to uncover unique actionable insights around people’s behavior and what it means for advertising
Assess the validity and rigor of new data sources and approaches in their use toward applied research audience insights
Proactive creation of custom advertising research driven to show value, insights, or missed opportunities
Partner closely with other internal and external researchers or vendors for joint project collaborations
Package these insights effectively for both internal and external audiences
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years experience in consumer insights (or related) research or 3+ years experience with an advanced degree
Experience with quantitative and qualitative research, and using data to support a point of view
Experience in survey design and baseline knowledge of lab studies
Knowledge of research design and applied statistics including sampling approaches and experiments
Fluency in languages for data manipulation (SQL) and statistical analysis (e.g., R or Python)
Experience with process, project and vendor management while partnering with cross-functional teams
Experience with communicating complex analysis and translating into actionable results for audience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with applied research with focus areas such as media consumption, consumer behavior or marketing effectiveness
Advanced Degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Political Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or similar quantitative field
