Global Privacy Operations Manager – Audit Responsibilities:
You will need to support a team of high performing individual contributors across a broad area of privacy related operational responsibilities, this will include regular check-ins, strategic goal planning, supporting our company’s performance practices, communicating important updates from your team to the wider organization.
As an manager for our Audit space, you should have excellent communication and leadership skills and have demonstrable experience: leading and planning a data privacy audit framework, designing and implementing testing strategies, reviewing and maintaining risk registers, understanding and applying audit methodology and professional practices.
You will need to analyze and summarize data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in controls, duplication of effort or lack of compliance with privacy laws, government regulations and management policies or procedures.
You will be designing, implementing and tracking of treatment/remediation plans, identifying and communicating opportunities to reduce risk and improve the overall effectiveness and operational efficiency of the privacy framework.
You will be providing clear and concise documentation of work performed, as well as issues and observations identified
performing proactively on issue management items approaching deadline for closure.
You will be articulating and educating colleagues on data privacy obligations to technology focused individuals and technical gaps to operations focused individuals.
You will be demonstrating the above through delivery of challenging assignments and engagement executive leadership on audit outputs.
Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years practical experience in operations, legal, audit, integrity, safety or policy
3+ years experience in end-to-end project management, product, business strategy audit, and/or operations
4+ years experience in leading operational or support teams with people management responsibilities
Proven experience leading operational projects from evaluation and design to execution
Practical Privacy experience (legal, compliance, program management or academic)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building out high performing teams with multiple career growth pathways
CIPP or other recognized Privacy certification
Experience mentoring independent performers and actively creating opportunities for growth
2+ years experience applying privacy practices and policies in a business environment
Experience managing multiple concurrent interactions with geographically disparate teams
Relevant audit qualification or practical experience leading audit response strategy
