Head of Operations, Business Messaging Group Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Vice Presidents of Business Messaging Products and the Business Messaging Group, align with their Leadership teams and other key partners to drive strategic priorities
Develop strategic calendar of key deliverables for the organization for each half
Ensure work, people, and resources are aligned against the highest priorities, and escalate as necessary to resolve misalignments
Support organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning to bridge connection across the sales/go-to-market and product processes
Drive implementation of new procedures to ensure employees can meet their goals and objectives. This includes accountability for all Rhythms of the Business in partnership with other key functions
Evaluate performance of the organizational operation by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics including onboarding tool usage, time spent analysis, etc.
Work closely with the human resources and recruiting teams to ensure hiring managers that new hires are prepared to advance the operational potential of the Business Messaging Organization
Drive leadership meetings and facilitate alignment on key issues and opportunities and ensure leadership team is spending time on highest priorities
Ensure pre-work for executive meetings is clear and will facilitate intended outcomes, manage action items
Coordinate standing meeting for cross-company business messaging leads to facilitate decision making, manage escalations and develop long-term strategy of the business
Partner with HR to support organizational and leadership team culture and leadership development initiatives
Represent the view of Business Messaging organization, as appropriate
Lead ad hoc leadership initiatives as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
12+ years of experience with project management, strategy, management consulting, research, or operations.
Experience working directly with management as well as people at all levels, including executive and C-suite level, both inside and outside of a company.
Experience managing multiple tasks under timelines and shifting priorities.
Project management and communications (long- and short-form) experience.
Experience cultivating internal relationships globally.
Experience developing and driving strategy and execution plans.
Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.
