Infra Data Center Technical Program Manager Responsibilities:
End-to-end ownership of engineering program activities from product concept to launch
Collecting business requirements from key stakeholders and converting them into technical requirements and managing their prioritization with engineering team
Make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-release, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams
Develop and drive critical high-level strategic initiatives
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
Oversee documentation effort with technical writers to ensure all necessary documentation for how to, support and troubleshooting tools are created & maintained
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of technical program management experience.
Experience understanding business needs, translating them into product requirements and creating execution plans.
Experience working on sophisticated technical systems and collaborating with engineers on system design.
Experience leading cross-organizational programs, effectively influencing partners and holding them accountable to goals, timelines and deliverables.
Analytical and problem solving experience including experience defining and collecting key metrics across projects.
Experience communicating effectively across the organization with interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
Knowledge of compute, storage and networking technologies
Data center operations knowledge
