Craft an inspiring and bold vision that captures how employees can build and deepen relationships in a more distributed and global world.
Develop strong relationships and act as a strategic advisor with company leaders and community leaders to define a longer-term program and product roadmap that will enable community as a core tenet of our culture.
Define a strategy and oversee the execution of programs, events, and experiences that will support deeper connections and community-building as we grow.
Partner with People Analytics and team to better understand peoples’ experiences (e.g. remote vs. in office) and desires. Create an approach to measure engagement and impact that will inform short- and long-term priorities.
Maintain strong cross-functional engagement to align efforts and provide a consistent company point of view on how to build community at Meta.
Manage a multi-million dollar budget and partner with external agencies to create global experiences that are both meaningful and memorable.
Be a strong and supportive people manager who can provide clear guidance and autonomy to team members—proactively invest in each person’s growth.
10+ years of work experience in Employee Engagement, Community Management, Culture Building, Office Site Management, or a related field
Experience engaging with and influencing C-level stakeholders
Experience managing multiple strategic priorities independently and simultaneously
Experience with program design and management, change management, and budget management
Experience leading cross-functional teams on multiple projects simultaneously
Experience leading through ambiguity
Experience operating in a highly matrixed organization that is constantly changing
Experience helping global organizations scale
Communication, relationship building, consulting, teamwork and influencing skills
Experience as a community leader or organizer—either in person or virtual
Experience defining strategies for a remote-first company
