Manager, Technical Program Manager, Hardware Responsibilities:
Responsible for people management of Hardware TPMs – hiring, developing and implementing organizational structure, delivering performance reviews, providing continual feedback, coaching and career growth for direct reports
Articulate the technology, requirements, goals and milestones for your team
Work with the team to develop end-to-end project plans, set milestones, influence teams to deliver against them, and keep the org and leadership informed on progress
Lead the team and perform risk management and change management on programs
Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions
Work with Engineering, Product Management, Operations leadership to ensure what we build has the right balance of cost vs. benefit, and focuses on addressing the highest priority partner team and customer needs
Excellent understanding of product values and technology investments, and the paths to deliver to the long term strategy and portfolio roadmap
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience building and managing a multi-disciplinary team of Technical Program Managers
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
Communication and interpersonal experience including relationship building and collaboration within a cross-functional team
Experience understanding product requirements and translating needs into plans
Knowledge of product development processes and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience of developing and shipping consumer electronics
Experience of developing and integrating new technologies into products
Experience of managing a distributed team
