New Devices Business Development Manager, Accessories Responsibilities:
Build and execute on partnerships with leading accessory companies to drive best in class partner products that enhance the experience for Reality Labs’ core devices and that materially accelerate new product development cycles
Define, negotiate, and close complex joint development, marketing, and product partnerships deals with third-party CE OEMs, soft-goods manufacturers and other accessory ecosystem players
Develop and drive external partner strategy for new accessory products in the Reality Labs team
Work cross-functionally with product management, product marketing, legal, finance, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms, drive special projects, and advocate internally for partners
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of work experience, including 5+ years of business development experience
Experience with structuring and negotiating partnership agreements for development, joint development, IP and brand licensing, marketing and distribution, and more
Experience working with media companies to license and develop content, and experience in brand licensing
Experience interpreting legal documents, negotiating contracts and working with attorneys to complete agreements Experience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate and complete deals
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree with JD or MBA
Demonstrated experience operating in a fast-paced, always-on, constantly evolving and collaborative environment and working effectively cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
Demonstrated experience developing strong working relationships internally and externally
Experience building partnerships for new hardware products including managing complex processes and negotiations end-to-end
Experience in establishing relationships and presence within the consumer electronics sector with a proven experience in reaching and exceeding goals
Demonstrated analytical, communication and presentation skills with technical, contractual and financial issues
