Product, Tech Lead Responsibilities:
Manage the trade-offs necessary and drive cross-functional engagement, both internal and external, to deliver world-class consumer products
Communicate product requirements across multiple technology teams, and represent the teams to cross-functional partners across the organization
Coordinate optimization of system performance between sub-systems on design and performance
Communicate progress, challenges and orchestrate trade-off analysis when required to overcome issues
Drive cross-functional efforts to define optical & display sub-system requirements with the product team. This will include hardware (optics, electronics, mechanics, silicon, sensor, data-communication), software (computer vision algorithms, calibration, modeling, analysis), and performance analysis
Drive optical system requirements definitions. Flow down optical system requirements to sub-system and component level. Resolve requirements discrepancies at different levels
Drive design verification, testing, and troubleshooting process to correlate with optical modeling and metrology, and between sub-system performance and system performance
Support TPMs in evaluation, validation, and delivery to specs by metrology, user studies, safety studies, FMEA analysis, environmental analysis, and dogfooding
