Program Governance Manager, Issue Management Responsibilities:
Drives the development and execution of the Compliance Issue Management framework (Standards, Methods, Taxonomy, Procedures) and ensures strict adherence to program governance across Meta’s first and second lines of defense
Drives the necessary program awareness via a communication and training strategy to ensure issue management is deeply embedded within the ‘DNA’ of Meta’s broader organization
Partners with other like-minded programs within Meta to signal share on overlapping issues and themes
Proactively sets the agenda and drives steering committee and other leadership updates including any requisite issues that require timely escalations
Guides Reporting and Operations Analyst where needed to ensure smooth functioning program operations and reporting and flawless execution
Provides expert advice, guidance and credible challenge to the issue portfolio teams in root cause analysis and corrective action development to drive sustainable remediations
Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years of experience working in a risk, audit, or compliance role
Experience designing and implementing issues or risk management capabilities
Experience leading cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders
Experience developing a risk or issue management program from scratch and driving change in a complex environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working at an internet, technology, or telecommunications companies in a risk, compliance or trust and safety technology function
Experience leveraging technology and analytics to build bleeding edge programs
Experience working on a variety of legal and compliance areas such as anti-corruption, conflicts, competition, political activities, trade control, environmental health and safety, payments, trust and safety, and/or supply chain management matters
Experience leading and mentoring teams
Experience working specifically in compliance, audit or risk management
Experience communicating and influencing all levels of employees while building consensus and driving change
Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
Highly motivated and proactive and experience working with minimal supervision
