Program Manager, 3PL Logistics Responsibilities:
Collaborate with all Meta Infrastructure entities and external vendors who store, transport, and transact inventory.
Understand third party warehouse workflows and integration so that internal systems provide inventory and shipment data visibility.
Maintain and document potential improvements to operational processes within the warehouse network.
Partner with 3PLs to provide optimal warehouse utilization and streamlined capacity-management to reduce multi-handling of product and optimized cycle counting processes.
Identify process gaps/inefficiencies and follow up with IBOS teams to raise visibility and develop solutions.
Ensure 3PL prepares outbound shipments in accordance with IBOS processes maintaining shipment quality standards.
Manage visibility, SLAs/KPI’s with selected transportation carriers to ensure event free delivery and measure vendor performance.
Highlight and communicate performance and trends within the warehouse operations.
Assist in meeting Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, analyze discrepancies, and help develop root cause corrective actions and trend improvements.
This role is located on site at our 3PL and requires 25% – 30% travel between 3PL sites.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams.
4+ years of experience handling basic PM responsibilities (prioritization, planning, scheduling, status reporting).
Understanding of warehouse management and inventory management systems in order to maintain flow of material and inventory accuracy.
Experience executing and developing solutions in a bimodal supply chain.
Communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills when working with diverse teams through process changes.
Experience using Oracle or similar ERP, MS Access, Excel and Project.
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: supply chain management, engineering, math, business or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience identifying gaps in processes and implement corrections and solutions.
Experience working in distribution/warehouse-related role.
