Meta is hiring a Sustainability Program Manager on the Responsible Supply Chain (RSC) program. This position will be focused on leading Meta’s company-wide climate resilience and biodiversity & nature programs. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and managing climate and environmental activities and working with suppliers and stakeholders in technology supply chains.

Sustainability Program Manager, Climate Resilience & Biodiversity Responsibilities:

Provide program management leadership for Meta’s Climate Resilience and Biodiversity & Nature Programs.

Lead climate risk assessment efforts and strategies to embed results into company decision-making.

Engage with business units and cross-functional stakeholders to align program objectives, roadmaps, milestones, and manage key metrics.

Promote employee understanding of and preparation for climate-related risks.

Conduct benchmarking activities and develop resources such as toolkits, checklists, and questionnaires.

Strategically align programs with TCFD, TNFD, SBTN and other leading standards and frameworks.

Strategize and operationalize the results of Meta’s pilot natural capital assessment, collaborating with stakeholders to develop roadmaps and prioritize programmatic activities.

Maintain positive, proactive relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.

Contribute to internal and external reporting and communications on program progress.

Represent Meta externally, as needed.

Ability to travel (10%).

Minimum Qualifications:
A team player and strategic thinker who can ideate and help us scale initiatives that accelerate Meta’s biodiversity and climate resiliency efforts.

Communications skills.

Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to learn and work on projects.

Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (e.g. Sustainability, Procurement Teams, Business teams, Engineering) and managing relationships with complex stakeholders.

6+ years of related experience in fields related to sustainability.

Project management skills with demonstrated experience in self-managing complex delivery in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Understanding of Meta’s products and services.

A self starter, with a proven experience in diplomatically resolve issues through understanding conflicting inputs, achieving alignment, and proposing go-forward solutions.

Undergraduate degree in environmental science, business, supply chain or related field.

Expertise in biodiversity, climate resilience, and climate risk management.
