Systems Performance Analyst, Risk & Payment Operations Responsibilities:
Leverage analytics to drive key performance metrics such as fraud losses, false positives, and operational efficiency
Apply a data-driven approach to identify, understand, and scope emerging fraud trends on the Facebook platform
Design rules in our risk engine in response to fraud trends and incidents or to improve overall risk engine performance
Ability to design new features in the risk engine that mimic fraudster behavior and/or highlight anomalous spending patterns
Oversee data and metric governance for fraud, system, and operations performance
Partner with Data Science, Product, Engineering and Operations teams to solve problems at scale
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years experience doing quantitative analysis
Experience with defining, utilizing and communicating performance metrics
Experience manipulating large data sets in SQL or equivalent, and drawing actionable insights from data
Experience in at least one scripting language (PHP, Python, Perl), statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS), or data visualization tool (Tableau)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or Economics
Experience with Haskell
