Meta’s Global Security Systems & Technology team is seeking a highly talented and motivated Technical Program Manager who can lead technical innovation and solution projects and align program with organizational goals. The Global Security organization implements best-in-class technology, and partners with other teams within Meta to think forward on how technology will affect and enhance our core mission of keeping people, assets, and reputation safe and secure. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Program Manager that has a firm engineering or similar technical background in cybersecurity, IoT, Application Development or System design and deployment. The candidate should understand problem statements, be able to build partnerships to move projects forward and lead the technical deployment and integration with a product focused point of view. The candidate will be responsible for creating scalable solutions that align with the organization’s technology roadmap. You will evaluate current and new products or technology and define a technical program strategy that meets future demands of security technology. This is a cross-functional role that partners closely with multiple Global Security teams, enterprise engineering, data analytics & engineering teams, consultants, and other Meta internal teams.

The Technical Program Manager will work with global security teams to deliver and engineer forward thinking security solution and evaluate, build, pilot, and integrate new solutions

Partner with and drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers and strategically evolve and grow existing products and services to constantly deliver a better user experience

Build partnerships and enhance the culture of impact an excellence resulting in project delivery, accountability, and project management excellence

Foster a culture of data driven decision making and asses complex systems risk, assessing technology changes, and driving technical innovation

You will be able to lead and influence others to complete large scale, global enterprise-wide initiatives that support the organization’s technology goals

Work with cross functional project/product-based teams to implement security solutions that meet project goals and that are sustainable and scalable

Establish prioritized roadmaps and implement strategies for executing, measuring progress, and communicating results against these goals that will advance the organization’s productivity through software engineering best practices

Manage collaboration and communication with multiple department leaders, both internal and external, to ensure teams have what they need and can work efficiently

You will move swiftly to remove roadblocks and work with cross-functional team members to be agile

You will work with a range of existing and innovative technologies including cybersecurity, geo spatial mapping, physical security information management, video analytics, access control, IoT edge hardening, UX Platforms, audio visual systems, compliance applications and many more internal applications and systems in large scale enterprise environments

Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.

Knowledge of general physical security systems, security hardware devices, IOT devices, software, vulnerably assessments, and complex networks

Experienced Technical Program Manager focused on delivering highly technical programs. Understanding of what it takes to build program from concept to operationalization

Experienced developing teams and creating partnerships with internal cross functional stakeholders, as well as external vendors/partners around the world

Technical foundation in Defensive Cyber concepts and solutioning

Experienced tackling complex problems with strategic focuses on achieving long-term organizational goals and problems statements

Experienced in rapidly growing businesses that have expanded globally

Superior organizational and communication skills. Experience influencing and communicate effectively

Experienced working with end-users, systems engineers, infrastructure, IT support, management, network teams, field teams

Experienced building roadmaps that align innovations and solutions with organizational goals

Understanding of offensive cyber, threat mapping and red team activities

Knowledge of statistics, data analytics and product metrics

Experience with managing vendors, vendor selection and contract execution and negotiations

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field or Computer Science or related industry experience and certifications

5+ years’ experience managing technical engineering projects and innovation solutions
