We are hiring two remote Azure Programs Operations Lead for the Azure Migration and Modernization Program (AMMP) based in the Americas timezones:
AMMP Operations Execution Lead – Manage end to end triage operations, establish, monitor and improve program SLA’s in collaboration with the broader PMO team, simplifying and streamlining the seller, partner, and customer experience.
AMMP Pilot Operations Lead – Lead the design and implementation of new pilot initiatives, effectively planning and overseeing pilots and readiness for GA launch, ensuring appropriate resource allocation, establish repeatable operational efficiency, train and prepare v-teams.

The Azure Migration and Modernization Program (AMMP) PMO is a team of people partnering with our global salesforce to bring the right resources at the right time to accelerate migration and modernization engagements and decrease customer time to value in leveraging Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Come join a dynamic team as an Azure Programs Operations Lead where your efforts will have far-reaching effect as we innovate our global sales motion. You will play a key role in managing the execution, innovation, and driving efficiencies in our Azure Hero program to achieve greater capacity and velocity in execution. You will leverage your organizational skills, business acumen, and v-team leadership in a One Microsoft approach as you manage and evolve the supporting processes that enable the programs for our field (and by extension, our partners) in bringing a predictably positive and effective migration and modernization experience to our customers.
The right candidate has the ability to think both at a strategic and programmatic level, be able to effectively develop and drive processes consistently and deliver impactful business outcomes. The individual needs to be comfortable working with and engaging senior leaders, stakeholders, managing multiple workstreams. You can prioritize independently and enjoy working in a fast-paced, complex environment.
This role will orchestrate a variety of program activity and requires an individual who is a great team player, building on the work of others, is a self-starter, a strategic thinker and is adaptable—jumping in to solve issues and drive solutions with urgency and efficiency.
Primary accountabilities for this role include
Lead program operations and innovation in collaboration with the PMO team and program stakeholders (Marketing, BG, GPS, Finance, Engineering, Sales, Solution Areas). Proactively manage operational execution issues, driving continual process improvement and efficiency to increase program capacity and velocity, and innovate to stay aligned to market demand (applicable to both roles, but more applicable to AMMP Pilot Operations Lead role).
Act as central point for WW field requests and queries related to program escalations and exceptions, operational processes and procedures related to Azure Migration & Modernization Program. Drive resolution or pull in relevant PMO team members and stakeholders to ensure timely response.
Oversee vendor resources orchestrating cross-org virtual teams to address program needs (applicable AMMP Operations Execution Lead role only).
Participate in special projects as needed to support broader PMO goals and the implement of the program roadmap.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
3+ years working with operational processes and procedures, technical program management, or equivalent.
1+ year of experience supporting customer and/or partner-facing sales teams as a part of a corporate PMO.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure, corporate programs, product management or customer success.
The salary range for this role in the state of CO is from $125,000 to $187,700.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
