Responsibilities

• ROB – Create and execute the rhythm of business (ROB), including managing staff meetings, MBRs, All Hands, business reporting, people rhythms, etc. to ensure the business runs smoothly and effectively. Lead on design, operationalizing and landing RoB
• Finance & Planning: In partnership with our finance and operations partners, drive the end-to-end capacity planning and budget processes across the fiscal year (from budget setting to quarterly forecasts). Ensuring the business needs are adequately represented to ensure we have proper HC and dollars to deliver on the business commitments.
• People Rhythm: In partnership with HR and other org requirements, drive end to end planning, timelines and outcomes for Core priority setting, Talent Talks, organizational awards, Annual Rewards cycle, Employee Signals and other related people topics, ensuring we meet corporate and org deadlines for content and format.
• Data Insights: Leverage or build and provide insightful analysis and commentary to enble the organization to operate efficiently. This may includes things such as financial views, Headcount, OKRs, etc.
• Communications: Develop & execute internal comms plan and champion/amplify organizational messaging and announcements via varied comms channels (email, Teams Channels, All Hands Calls, newsletters, etc)
• Initiative Management: Lead key initiatives as needed to deliver on business commitments. These may include things like consumption tracking, role based skilling plans or other such initiative needed to support the business.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles

OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 10+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles

OR Master’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 7+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles

OR equivalent experience.

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $144,600 and $216,600.

At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
