The Silicon team within Azure Hardware Infrastructure is looking for a Business Operations Manager to support the Executive office. The Business Operations Manager will be a key member of the Executive Office of the CVP reporting to the Technical Advisor/Chief of Staff and requires someone who has a strategic, business mindset and a bias for action; thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; and easily partners successfully with a wide group of stakeholders, from senior leaders to individual contributors and support staff. You will contribute towards establishing processes to manage our business as we scale our organization across geographies and product verticals to create common structure and fundamental principles that allows for forward visibility and adaptability for change while optimizing our resources.
The ideal candidate will have experience in operations management, and a self-starter with track record of developing strong relationships, collaborating across teams, integrating with the needs of the business. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Support the operational rhythm of business (ROB), including business reviews, quarterly planning, cross-organizational business reporting, etc. to help the business run smoothly and effectively.
Strive for operational excellence across the organization, planning, implementing, and monitoring projects that improve team efficiency.
Work with the BM team to ensure timely, high quality and consistent completion of business operation activities across the org to achieve overall business priorities.
Productivity: Identifying, documenting, and following-up on issues, and helping drive closure to ensure overall productivity. Improve book-keeping and recording where applicable while assisting in creating common processes and templates for documentation.
Special Initiatives: Work on special projects as a member of the Executive office.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
7+ years of business program management, procurement, finance and business operation, consulting, or equivalent experience,
Bachelor’s degree in Business related field,
Self-starter with strong data analysis skills,
Strong attention to detail, passion for strategic thinking and problem solving,
Good written and interpersonal communication and collaboration skills,
Ability to work with a variety of people across the organization, including senior leaders, individual contributors, and support staff,
Ability to maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments,
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to deal with ambiguity and triaging competing priorities,
Ability to bring insight into suboptimal flows in existing business operations processes, and a drive to improve them over time.
Preferred:
Business, or program management experience within an engineering environment or in close partnership with an engineering organization,
Prior experience with complex systems and tools deployment,
Familiarity with engineering and business process tools such as ADO is a plus,
Prior experience in business analytics including hands on experience on platforms like Power BI, Tableau for data insights
Travel: 0-10%
