This role provides business program management for the Xbox Game Studios Business Operations (XGSBO) General Manager, as well as working in partnership with key stakeholders including HR, finance, CELA, Microsoft subsidiaries and the Studios, utilizing their skills and deep and wide industry knowledge to influence the development, deployment, success, and sustainability of global and scalable programs and initiatives that impact cultural change and boost equal career opportunities for people from all walks of life, across our studios and platform ecosystems, and ultimately the game industry as a whole.
The ideal candidate is self-driven, with proven interpersonal, time management, and communication skills, ability to work across teams and deliver on several programs that support the initiatives of the Business Operation organization.
Responsibilities
Business Operations and D&I
Manage the overall rhythm of the business (ROB) in partnership with the General Manager including alignment to other team and division RoB’s.
Manage PCN tracking and coordination for the Organization.
Design and deploy swag creation and distribution for the Organization.
Drive Required training completion across teams supported by regular progress reporting.
Drive Org wide space management in partnership with admins in the team.
Collaborate with Xbox leads and embedded DE&I leads across GM’s teams to help drive and amplify messages and programs focused on building a D&I culture. This can include role as International Affairs Lead for GLEAM LATAM, Project Spirit, Xbox Game Studios Game Camp, Microsoft Leap, Neurodiversity hiring and University Recruitment.
Game Camp programs coordination
Creative and branding Infrastructure in partnership with Game Camp Senior Communications Manager, asset creation and asset Management for XGS Game Camp– with initial priority to update the xbox.com site to reflect renewed focus of XGS Game Camps. Create the baseline and process for the site, GC Main logo, and Branding moving forward.
Project coordination for the Focused Hiring Program in partnership with Xbox Game Studios Game Camp Director.
Drive a multi-faceted support role with University Recruiting (UR) specifically as Champ for UR Intern Coordination in helping them land well in Studios.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Experience driving large scale programs involving multiple stakeholders
Experience working with senior leadership in subject matter capacity
A positive can-do attitude, drive for results, and detail oriented
Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, collaborate with entire organization at all experience levels
Time management skill in handling multiple projects, competing priorities, and working effectively under pressure
Self-starter who deals well with ambiguity and can manage the unexpected with grace.
