This is a unique opportunity for a Communications Program Manager to join the Customer Service & Support (CSS) Chief of Staff team. You will play a critical role in landing internal communications and change management across our organization.

A successful candidate must be a self-starter, who enjoys and has proven success in managing change communications across global teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving clear communications outcomes. We need an experienced communicator and dedicated team player who positively thrives on process and has a passion for Microsoft’s culture and a growth mindset.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communications planning – Establish landing and change comms process for the CSS organization in partnership with our Transformation team using the Pathfinder tool. Help build effective communication channels and strategies to reach different roles at all levels across the organization together with our Support Business Unit Communications Leads.
  • Campaign management – Manage landing and change comms for key business priorities as unique campaigns, coordinating timing, stakeholders, and content end-to-end and using the tools available to drive measurement of our comms.
  • Connector – Be a collaboration rock star – build strong partnerships across multiple stakeholder groups and have a thirst to learn about new areas of the business. Leverage your skills as a connector to inform communications planning and enable broader impact.
  • Metrics maven – Use communications metrics and results to share insights on landing comms and identify areas of strengths and weakness to inform new actions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Program Managers/ Communications Manager, leading large-scale landing and change communications, with a proven track record of running impactful internal communications programs. Microsoft experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in implementing communications plans across diverse, global audiences with a strong focus on delivering inclusive and accessible communications.
  • Strong written communication skills, including ability to simplify the complex into understandable narratives, in digestible social copy and across formats.
  • Ability to work effectively across groups, drive successful workstreams and contribute to the success of others.
  • Positively contributes as part of a team in a high-paced and fast-changing work environment with a can-do, learn-it-all mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills; thrives at creating clarity through an organized, methodical, repeatable approach to program management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ensures accuracy in all communications deliverables
