Responsibilities
In the Community Manager role, you will be responsible for the following:
Drive strategy and execution for our community of learners engaged in Microsoft training and Microsoft Certified Professionals.
Develop a community strategy by partnering closely with cross-organizational stakeholders, local field teams, and third-party community stakeholders to align on opportunities, gaps, and challenges related to community efforts.
Partner closely with internal teams and field organizations to scale community engagement, create clarity on strategic priorities, and deliver executional guidance and resources to increase impact of global initiatives.
Align existing community initiatives and innovate net-new tactics to bolster community engagement and advocacy.
Identify leading performance indicators and instrument measurement to quantify the impact and progress of our community engagement initiatives, and evolve components/structure as needed to align to shifting community needs.
Capture feedback and insights from our learners, translate into opportunities for improvement, and channel to appropriate internal stakeholders to influence product development and marketing strategies.
Qualifications
7+ years of supporting, engaging, and developing community and advocacy programs
Proven track record in designing, launching, and executing community and advocacy programs as key project lead
Self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll-up sleeves and execute to get the job done. Accomplished range of skills from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
Creative thinker that generates and executes on innovative marketing ideas that generate measurable business impact
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including experience in storytelling and messaging
Proven experience establishing strong collaborative relationships across a varied set of stakeholders and organizations
Self-starter, with shared ownership mindset & strong attention to detail
Self-awareness, the ability to be self-critical and a strong desire to learn/grow
